Kayaks for Sale
Welcome to Canoes and Kayaks! We have a great range of sit-in recreational canoes and kayaks, sea kayaks, K1 and K2 racing kayaks, touring kayaks, fishing canoes and all sorts of long, short, skinny and wide canoes for sale across Australia.
We have Australian, English and US made canoes and kayaks for sale ranging from 3.0m to 6.0m in length so no matter what your endeavor, we will endeavor to have the right product for you.
Kayaks
Kayaks are often split into two broad groups – touring kayaks (TK’s) and racing kayaks (K’s). The dimensions of the kayaks will vary a bit, but you will most likely be looking for a one-man (or woman) or two-man (or woman) kayak (TK1, TK2 or K1, K2).
Whether it’s solo or double fun you’re after, kayaking is a great way to get around. We have a range of models to suit all requirements – standard enclosed kayaks, sea kayaks, sit on tops, plus every accessory under the sun – dry bags, paddle floats, pumps, sail kits, sealable storage, adjustable seating and steering, backrests and anchors.
Our kayaks come in PE plastic or fiberglass for strength, mobility and maneuverability.
Canoes
Whether it’s for cruising on your own, fun afternoons with your kids, or fishing with friends, we will have a canoe that meets your needs.
Unlike a lot of kayaks, canoes are relatively spacious so you can store large quantities of provisions and equipment, plus people! Strong and durable plastic construction makes modern day canoes easy to live with and a cinch to maintain. While canoes are most often considered for their safety and reliability, we do stock designs that can be used in white water situations.
Ideal for touring, camping and hours of family entertainment, why not get into canoeing with a canoe from Canoes Kayaks.
Sea Kayaks & Inflatable Kayaks
We haven’t mentioned these specific types of kayaks because they are all a part of the range we offer. If you have a specific need give us a call.
Training
If you want to get the most from your time on the water you will need to practice your paddling stroke. Core body and upper body strength are very important to going long distances, but even more important is to get your stroke correct otherwise you risk injury, particularly to your forearms.
Hold the paddle where it is marked on the handle. Not too close to the fin and not too near the centre. Keep your arms parallel with each other and rotate from the waist as you paddle. Watch some videos or go and get lessons from a professional. You will be glad you did.
